The main aim is to assess the standards of local women’s rugby players and offer overseas training/scholarships to select players. The women’s rugby tournament will feature four teams, with plans for a training program for schools and participation from Australian rugby delegates, contributing to Sri Lanka’s global tourist appeal and sports development.
