Sri Lanka’s most known national park is popular for elephants, leopards, bears, crocodiles, and Wild boars. Its open undulating terrain made it famous for elephants for many years. Claims have subsequently been made that Yala National Park has the world’s highest concentration of leopards per square kilometer. This park is primarily a shrub jungle with several salt and freshwater lagoons. The areas popular with leopards are rock-strewn hillocks with dense shrubs in which the animals hide. Afterward, you can experience a half-day safari in this national park of Sri Lanka that may also lead to spotting various other reptiles, birds, butterflies as well as a diversity of flora and fauna.
