Our objective is to enhance the sustainability of the tourism industry by introducing a reusable alternative to single-use plastic bottles, thereby immediately reducing plastic waste in our ecosystem. Collaboratively, we can substantially diminish plastic pollution across the island through sustainable tourism practices. Considering that the industry standard averages two single-use bottles per person per day over a ten-day stay, totaling 20 single-use bottles per person, we urge you to contact your Tour Consultant to facilitate the transition to reusable bottles. Together, let’s make a meaningful impact in preserving our marine environments for future generations.
We have implemented a sustainable policy to eliminate single-use plastic bottles from our tours. Clients are provided with reusable bottles with a handmade pouch that can be refilled throughout their trip, reducing the amount of plastic waste generated during their travel. To further reduce our environmental impact, we encourage clients to return their used bottles to our suppliers to ensure proper recycling. We are committed to promoting responsible waste management practices and reducing the carbon footprint of our tours.
We also promote sustainable water practices by encouraging clients to refill their bottles using hand pumps available in various locations during their trips. After the tour, all bottles are returned to our suppliers, completing the disposal cycle.
Our commitment to sustainability includes the use of sustainable materials for the gifts we provide to clients. These gifts are made from recycled paper or natural fabrics, promoting responsible tourism practices. We partner with small-scale suppliers in the areas where we operate, creating jobs and supporting the local economy. This promotes sustainable tourism and ensures that the benefits of tourism are shared with the local community.
Our tours are carbon neutral, as we offset all our carbon emissions by investing in renewable energy projects or carbon offset programs. By choosing to travel with us, clients can be assured they are making a positive impact on the environment, supporting responsible tourism practices.
